Basic pot roast with flour, salt, pepper, rump of beef, fat or oil, onions, sliced, or 10-12 small white onions, peeled, or 2 carrots, scraped and cubed, herbs and other seasonings as desired, liquid, other vegetables as desired.

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 5 lb. rump of beef
  • 2 or 3 tbsps. fat or oil
  • 2 onions

Directions

  1. Step 1 Season the flour with the salt and pepper and pound the mixture into the meat with the edge of a plate.
