Cinnamon chicken with couscous and dried fruit with chopped onion, mixed chopped dried fruit, 14-ounce can low-salt chicken broth, couscous, finely chopped fresh mint, divided.   • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup mixed chopped dried fruit
  • 1 14-ounce can low-salt chicken broth
  • 1 cup couscous
  • 2 tsps. finely chopped fresh mint, divided

Ramen and garnishes:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 6 5-ounce packages fresh thin and wavy ramen noodles
  • 1/2 cup menma
  • 6 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 3 toasted nori sheets, torn in half
  • Chili oil, toasted sesame oil, and shichimi togarashi

For the chorizo potatoes:

  • 1 lb. Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsps. olive oil
  • 1 lb. fresh Mexican chorizo, removed from casing

For the tacos:


  1. Step 1 Preheat oven to 375°F. Sprinkle chicken with salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon ginger.

  2. Step 2 Heat oil in large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, skin side down, and cook until skin is brown, about 8 minutes.

  3. Step 3 Turn chicken and transfer skillet to oven. Roast chicken until thermometer inserted into thickest part of thigh registers 175°F, about 15 minutes.

  4. Step 4 Add onion to drippings in same skillet; sauté onion over medium-high heat until beginning to brown, about 5 minutes.
  5. Step 5 Add dried fruit and remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon ginger; stir to coat. Add broth; bring to boil.
