  • 1 tsp. firmly packed light brown sugar

GLAZE

  • 2 tbsps. butter
  • 2 1/2 tbsps. unsweetened apple juice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup light agave nectar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Step 1 In a small, dry frying pan over low heat, toast the cumin, stirring often, until aromatic, about 30 seconds.
  2. Step 2 In a small container with a tight-fitting lid, stir together the cumin, paprika, sugar, coriander, cayenne pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
