  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsps. finely grated peeled fresh ginger

For crust

  • 1/3 cup almonds
  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsps. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 6 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pcs.
  • 2 tbsps. ice water

For filling

Lavender flavor

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tsps. fresh or dried lavender blossoms
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsps. honey

Ice cream base

For final assembly and decoration
