Pasta with shrimp and basil vinaigrette with freshly grated parmesan cheese.


  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

For sauce

  • twelve 7- by 3 1/2-inch sheets dry no-boil lasagna pasta
  • 3/4 cup grated Fontina cheese
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan


  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3/4 cup grated provolone cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 oz. fresh crabmeat
  • 1 egg, beaten to blend

For topping

  • 1 cup pecan halves, toasted lightly and cooled

For assembly and decoration

  • Assorted berries and cut fruit

  1. Step 1 Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat) or preheat broiler. Combine 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and Dijon mustard small bowl.

  2. Step 2 Gradually mix in 1/3 cup olive oil. Mix in chopped fresh basil. Place shrimp in medium bowl. Drizzle with remaining 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and 2 tablespoons olive oil.

  4. Step 4 Meanwhile, brush zucchini on both sides with oil. Season with salt and pepper. Grill until charred, about 2 minutes per side.

  6. Step 6 Drain pasta well. Add to bowl with shrimp and zucchini. Add basil vinaigrette and toss to coat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
