  • 1/2 cup thick Greek or Mediterranean-style yogurt or drained plain yogurt
  • 1/2 to 2/3 cup extra virgin Greek olive oil as needed
  • 1 tsp. finely ground black pepper, or more or less to taste
  • 2 to 3 tbsps. fresh lemon juice to taste

For the filling:

  • 1 lb. commercial phyllo, defrosted and at room temperature
